1. What AutoClean Does

AutoClean is a browser extension that deletes your browsing history, cache, cookies, form data, and/or saved passwords, either manually or on a schedule you set. All cleaning actions happen directly through your browser's built-in data controls — the actual browsing data itself is never sent to us, viewed by us, or stored anywhere outside your device.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the extension and process payments:

• Extension settings (your chosen cleaning interval, which data types to clear, whether auto-clean is enabled) — stored locally in your browser via Chrome's storage system. This stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Premium account information — if you purchase AutoClean Premium, we collect your name, email address, and a payment reference ID to generate and verify your license key. This is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and is used only to verify your Premium status.
• Payment details — all payment processing (card numbers, UPI IDs, bank details) is handled directly by Razorpay, our payment processor. We do not see, collect, or store your payment card or banking information.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your browsing history, visited URLs, or search activity
• Cookies, saved passwords, or autofill data from your browser
• Any content of the pages you visit
• Your IP address or device fingerprint for tracking purposes

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we do collect (name, email, license key) is used only to:

• Verify your Premium subscription status
• Send you support communication if you contact us
• Troubleshoot issues with license activation

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

• Razorpay — processes all payments securely. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — stores license key records (name, email, license key) in a secure database.
• Render — hosts our backend server that verifies license keys.

6. Data Retention

We retain Premium account information (name, email, license key) for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for support purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all locally stored settings from your browser

8. Children's Privacy

AutoClean is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
